Manjunath is working as a postdoc at the IFIMUP under Prof. Joaquim Agostinho. Currently he is working on different functional materials especially using the Raman spectroscopic technique. He is also interested in the areas of multiferroics and structure-property correlation. He has done his PhD from CSIR - National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. His PhD thesis deals with the studies of structural and multiferroic properties of co-substituted BiFeO3.
