Joana Silva holds a MSc degree in Physical Engineering from the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto. She has been involved in the development of energy harvesting materials and devices using thermoelectric effects. She has worked on the synthesis and physical characterization of nano and micro-structured materials and lately has also been involved in the printed electronics field. She is currently a PhD student at FCUP.
