David's work is focused on the preparation and characterization of nanostructures, with reduced feature sizes, controlled layer thickness, complex morphologies and variable compositions. Ferromagnetic nanostructures and magnetoplasmonic systems with tailored properties could be useful for a range of applications like data storage, energy and bio-medical applications.
