António is a PhD student focusing on the study of ferroelectric and negative thermal expansion materials through Perturbed Angular Correlation Spectroscopy. This allows us to probe the temperature dependent charge/orbital orderings and symmetry-breaking distortions in a unique way, through the local probing of the hyperfine fields in a crystal lattice.
