Advanced Energy Materials

Ana Pires graduated in Materials Engineering at the University of Aveiro in 2010 and completed the Masters of Biomedical Materials and Devices in 2012 in the same University. She has been investigating Magnetocaloric Materials at CFNUL since 2013, in close collaboration with IFIMUP. In 2019 she finished her PhD in Physics at the University of Porto within the MAP-Fis Doctoral program.


Research Topics: Energy Harvesting, Thermoelectrics, Nanogenerators, Energy storage.
