In 2016-17, Horizon was lucky to bring Sharon Skretting on board for a two-year secondment as our division assessment coach. Sharon's role is to support and work alongside all division teachers in helping promote best practices in assessment.
Sharon has created two online courses and many planning tools, all of which can be found on Horizon Staff University. You'll find this link on our staff intranet page (via Breeze, our webhost service) or via the direct link: http://horizon-staff-university.thinkific.com/collections
Not only has Sharon created tools to support you in your classroom, but it is also part of her role to visit schools on an ongoing basis to provide personalized, elbow-to-elbow support to you in your classroom. Check with your principal for information on Sharon's availability at your school.
