Your child's communication skills are just as important as their reading, writing and math skills! We hope to continue to see growth in all areas this year. As always, you can continue to work on your child's Speech goals at any time- review any previous practice sheet with your child, read a book, sing a few songs, or play games such as 'I Spy'. Make videos of your student practicing their sounds and have them watch it- monitoring their own productions. Read a book or watch a video- lots of free things are listed on the SES website. Ask questions about what you have watched/read, retell the story, ask what they would have done if they were done in the same situation, etc. The most important thing is to MAKE COMMUNICATION AT HOME WITH YOUR STUDENT FUN! =)
