Hello!  

My name is Mrs. Dickes. I am the counselor at Whitetail Elementary.  I have been teaching in Gretna for 18 years, it is truly the best!  I taught 2nd grade for 11 years and 5th grade for 3 years.  This is my fourth year as a counselor.  I am so excited to be able to help students and families through this special role!  My goal is to help every child be the best version of him or herself!  I work with all students at Whitetail by teaching classroom lessons, leading small groups, and checking-in with indivduals.

When I am not at school I love being with my family.  My husband Nate and I have two sons, Emmitt (17) and Owen (16), and two daughters, Harper (13) and Nev (11).  We love to be outside!  Our goal is to visit as many National Parks as we can!  

I look forward to getting to know all of the wonderful families at Whitetail.  I love being a part of this school community that feels like family!
