Today, students:

    1. Review key vocabulary from Act I of Othello.
    2. Evaluate and discuss first part of midterm exam with a specific focus on using textual evidence to support answers.
    3. Read and perform Act I, scenes 1-2 of Othello (knowledge and comprehension).
    4. Analyze Act I, scenes 1-2 of Othello with a specific focus on Shakespeare’s use of imagery, figurative language and characterization.

Tuesday, February 6th:

Today, students will:

    1. Read and perform Act I, scenes 1-2 of Othello (knowledge and comprehension).
    2. Analyze Act I, scenes 1-2 of Othello with a specific focus on Shakespeare’s use of imagery, figurative language and characterization.
    3. Read and analyze an informational article related to Othello, and use their analysis to effectively answer MCAS style multiple choice and open response questions (knowledge, comprehension, analysis and application)
