Today, students:

1) Shared and evaluated their TPCASTT analysis of "Springtime in the Classroom."

2) Created an informal presentation of one aspect of their TPCASTT analysis to present to the class.

3) Reviewed connotation and denotation.

Tuesday, December 5th:

Today students:

1) Reviewed and generated examples of the following types of figurative language: simile, metaphor and personification.

2) Identified and explained three new types of figurative language: implied metaphor, synecdoche, and metonymy.

3) Read and began analyzing "Meeting at Night" by Robert Browning.
