Not patterned.  Could possibly wear a blazer over a dress too. Jewelry should be minimal. Hair should be styled and out of your face.  Only neutral nail polish.

ADVANCED

A little more business attire but not yet a matching suit. Again, no big patterns and looks like an outfit.  Dress shoes and hose. Jewelry should be minimal. Hair should be styled and out of your face. Only neutral nail polish.

PREFERRED

A matching suit with a skirt or pants and a solid color blouse or shirt that works with the suit. Dress shoes and hose. Jewelry should be minimal. Hair should be styled and out of your face. Only neutral nail polish.

Acceptable

First year competitors.  You don't own a suit but have a dress shirt, tie, dress pants and dress shoes.  You should have a belt and dark socks.  Make sure everything is cleaned and pressed. Hair should be presentable.

I call this my "homecoming look".  Not a full suit but has a blazer, dress pants, tie and dress shoes.  Dark socks and belt too.  Make sure everything is cleaned and pressed. Hair should be presentable
