Glastonbury parent involvement remains a key to the success of our students. There are numerous opportunities throughout the school year for parents to get involved—by attending and supporting school events, by sharing time and talents with our schools, and by communicating and collaborating directly with teachers, staff, administrators, and Board of Education members.
Each of our schools is fortunate to have a volunteer PTO or Parent Group actively working to enhance student learning. These groups maintain their own websites. There is also a website for the district’s Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA).
As you guide your children through their educational journey, we encourage you to stay involved with their schooling. Every parent can positively affect their child’s growth and success in school with open communication and active participation.
