Developing a Print Advertisement
Let's start with a straight forward product: Toothpaste for kids ages 2-10.
The first part of the brainstorm process should be to just list everything about the product that you can think of. Figure out how to differentiate the product. Why should I buy your toothpaste instead of the 100 other choices?
You'll take your brainstorm ideas and develop a print ad. (keeping it simple, we'll use google drawing)
Remember some of the 'rules' for print ads:
What are you selling?
Whom are you selling to?
Where is the ad being published?
Can the customer identify the product/service quickly?
What is the 'hook'?
The 3 second rule
Who is the target? (Be careful on this one).
