Moving Picture Ad Development

Now that you've developed your print ads, it's time to start thinking about television and/or internet based ads.

The first step is storyboarding.  You did a lot of this in the print ad work.  Develop the basic idea behind the ad.  What message are you trying to get out?  Who are you targeting?  What would you like consumers to remember?  Is there a theme carried through from print ads?

After the storyboarding, start filming.  You will make mistakes when filming... that's ok and part of the process.  You can easily trim pieces out of clips, you don't have to film the entire commercial in one sequence.

You can also work on gathering your images.
