Using Slides, or another presentation tool, please complete the following:

1. Choose either Trademarks, Copyrights or Patents

2. Find a news story regarding a violation of intellectual property. (preferably one we have not discussed)

Presentation should include:

• Title slide

• Explanation of what you are choosing and why (define the particular intellectual property - i.e. A copyright is....)

• How was there an infringement or violation?  Try to be as specific as you can with details.  Include pictures, text, videos, song lyrics... 

• What was the end result?  Lawsuit leading to monetary damages, etc...

• Did this change any laws?

• Anything else interesting about the story?

Formatting and presentation both count.
