Sylvia was my second doctoral student in epidemiology whose dissertation I was the chair. Sylvia worked in my team as a Graduate Assistant from Fall 2018 through Spring 2022.
From Fall 2022 to Spring 2024, Sylvia was a postdoctoral curriculum and research fellow in the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics (CCDD) at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, under the mentorship of Dr. Caroline Buckee and Dr. Bethany Hedt-Gauthier.
Currently, Dr. Ofori is working as a senior principal epidemiologist in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry.
