Dear Colleagues-
The SMC Pre-Health Association is excited to be hosting Altus Sports Institute, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 8.
Altus is a very high-end functional training institute that caters to professional athletes in a variety of sports including the NBA, US Olympic team, USA Triathlon, English Premier League soccer, and even some Star Wars cast members! Their fast-paced facility integrates fitness training, rehab, chiropractic, and biomechanical training to serve the needs of their clients. We will be joined by Paul Vincent, CEO of the institute.
He will be giving a presentation on their organization, as well as recruiting for their competitive student internship program. Interns will have an opportunity to get hands-on clinical experience in physical therapy and fitness training.
The Altus team were one of our most popular guests from last year due to their interactive presentation, so we have invited them once again.
When: Tuesday, March 8 from 11:30AM-12:15PM
Where: SCI157
Please encourage your students to join us tomorrow!
Thank you!

The SMC Chemistry Club, a Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society, is excited to announce that we will be hosting a resume writing workshop this week. The workshop will be focused on preparing a resume for an entry level science job or to be used in contacting university professors to inquire about volunteer opportunities in the lab. The last time we offered this workshop students found it to be extremely useful, all are welcome to attend, even if you haven't been to a meeting before.
