Hi Chem 10 class,
Your upcoming Quiz 1 will cover all the material we covered in class in our first two lectures (if I did not talk about in class then you don't have to worry about it). Please bring a mini-scantron sheet (815-E) and a scientific calculator with you to every quiz. The quiz always takes place at the start of class.
Also, a reminder that your Mastering Chemistry (Intro) assignment is due later today by 11:59pm. The point of this assignment is to teach you how to enter answers into Mastering Chemistry (some of the questions such as "guess the random number" are impossible to do! the point is simply to learn how to input answers into the online program). Do not spend too much time on this intro assignment.
Your Chap 1 Mastering Chemistry homework is due this Wed. (I likely won't be reminding you again of the homework deadlines in the future - you have it in the syllabus).
