Course Objectives
This course covers contemporary, real-world topics relevant to daily life, aiming to provide students with opportunities to learn and practice English reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Each reading article focuses on various topics and guides students through engaging discussions and activities. By the end of the course, students are expected to improve their language skills and become more confident learners of English.
Teaching Methods
This course provides students with a series of classroom tasks, including group discussion, group oral report, oral presentation (individual), and pair/group writing. Through the range of classroom activities, students are supposed to build up their fluency and confidence in English.
Course Description
This course aims to provide students with opportunities to learn and practice English communication skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking, along with vocabulary and grammar. By the end of the course, students are expected to enhance a certain amount of vocabulary, develop a fuller comprehension of listening and reading, and boost their confidence in English.
