We get you. A new diagnosis of type 1 diabetes can be overwhelming. But Gales Creek Camp is here for you. The families you're going to meet through GCC have been through it, too. The other campers your child will meet are living the same challenges your kiddo faces every day. This is the place where a type 1 isn't the only 1. This is the place where you'll be understood.

• We do a Holiday Meetup each winter. It's a great opportunity to meet people or reconnect with people you've already met! Learn more here.

• While Gales Creek Camp is THE BEST place for families living with diabetes to connect to others, summer might still be too far off. One group that works year around to connect kids and families is Type 1 Unbound. We encourage you to check them out and get involved!
