Get your feet walking and wheels rolling for International Walk and Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 8th. Students and families can walk, bike, skate, take transit, and more to get to school. Thirty-five of Fremont’s public schools (including four high schools) have signed up to participate. City of Fremont representatives will be present at schools across the city to help greet students, distribute giveaways, and to thank them for walking and rolling. The Age Well Center at Lake Elizabeth is pleased to announce the third annual Wellness Expo. The WE 2025 event will feature:
Free health screenings
Interactive exercise demonstrations
Healthy recipes and nutrition tips
Connection with community and health education resources
Older adults and their families are encouraged to attend and learn about services and resources available for older adults 55+. This year’s expo is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and is free for the public.
