English as a second language program - Fremont adult school
Fremont Adult and Continuing Education offers FREE ESL classes, from Beginning Literacy to Advanced that will help you improve your English skills and build your confidence on the job, in school, and in the community.
Day, evening, weekend and online classes are available. There are a variety of classes to choose from in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, civics, work skills, business communication, listening and speaking, and pronunciation.
The ESL Winter Quarter runs from January 31 to March 28, 2024.
Free ESL classes are also offered at Ohlone College.

The Alameda County Library hosts weekly chats and reading groups for adults who are learning English. The chats are hosted online and in-person and allow adults to practice English conversation skills with other English learners.
The reading group will read a book written at an intermediate English level and will help learner improve English reading and writing ability.
