English Buddies is a one-on-one program for grades 4 and up, aimed at improving reading and speaking skills in areas where they face difficulties, with the goal of fostering confidence and proficiency in English.
English Buddies pairs trained high school or college students with youth is grades four and up to help improve their English reading and/or speaking skills.
Registration is required . Acceptance is based on needs and the order of applications received.

Fremont Adult and Continuing Education offers FREE ESL classes, from Beginning Literacy to Advanced that will help you improve your English skills and build your confidence on the job, in school, and in the community.
Morning, afternoon, evening and online classes are available. There are a variety of classes to choose from in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, civics, work skills, business communication, listening and speaking, and pronunciation.
Free ESL classes are also offered at Ohlone College.
