Dear McSpedden Families,

My name is JoAnn Watts, and I am so excited to be the Physical Education Teacher here at McSpedden!! 

I started my teaching career as the PE Aide here at McSpedden back in 2014, the year the school opened!  I worked as the aide for 2 yrs. and transitioned to the PE teacher in 2016.  I am so blessed to be a part of the McSpedden family!!

I have lived in Frisco since 2008!  I have 2 beautiful children, both attending the University of Oklahoma - #BOOMERSOONER!  I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of North Texas.  I hope to help make P.E. your child’s favorite part of their day, all the while promoting healthy habits and fun physical exercise!

Exercising, physical fitness and healthy habits are my passion and a huge part of my everyday life!  I can’t wait to share my enthusiasm with your children here at McSpedden.

Dear McSpedden Families,

My name is Vickie Jett.  I am the Physical Education Aide for McSpedden Elementary.  I am honored to be working with the kiddos again this school year.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Aurora University.  After graduating, I worked as an accountant in the hotel industry for 13 years.   I  have been the Physical Education Assistant  since 2016 .   Previously , I was a substitute teacher with Frisco ISD. subbing for kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade , 3rd grade , 5th grade as well as physical education.

I have  two wonderful boys, my oldest son  is  currently working in the supply industry ,and my other son is a sophomore at West Texas A&M University.   

I believe that physical activity helps to promote healthy habits and academic success.  I would like to share my energy, passion and spirit of physical exercise!  I am so excited to see the kiddos this year.  I hope you had a great summer.

Finally, thank you for allowing me to share this time with your kiddos.  What a FABULOUS  year this will be at McSpedden Elementary.

My name is Megan Johnson and I have worked for Frisco ISD the past four years.  I graduated from University of North Texas with a major in Education. I like anything outdoors especially golf and volleyball.  I enjoy being a part of the kids learning experience and watching them grow.
