Hello McSpedden Families and Students!

As part of their elementary experience, all children in Frisco receive the opportunity to attend Specials (Art, Music, and Physical Education) on a rotating basis.  Our Specials teachers are:

We are excited about the district-wide commitment of instilling strong character skills alongside strong academic skills. During Specials, much like in the classroom, we will be utilizing rewards to reinforce character skills. The Specials classes are an excellent setting to explore, develop and reinforce character skills. In support of this, children will receive grades (S - Satisfactory, N – Needs Improvement, U – Unsatisfactory) for their progress in the Specials classes.

While each Specials class is quite different in terms of what is being taught, we do have similar behavioral and work expectations. If you ever have any concerns or questions about our areas, we ask that you please contact us directly.  We are very interested in your questions and your children’s specific needs in our classes.  Please understand that, like classroom teachers, our primary goal is to use every opportunity to give our students a chance to succeed.
