Medical Conditions

Today's school nurses care for students with many difficult medical conditions. Injections, breathing treatments, catherizations, tube feedings, trach suctionings, and basic health monitoring are just some of the tasks that are performed in a school's clinic. If your child has a medical condition, it is vital to inform me. Plans will be made for medication administration, special procedures, and other accommodations to help keep your child in school and safe while at school. Below are links to the more common medical conditions within the school setting -- please click on the needed link to take you to more information and required forms. If your child has a medical condition other than those listed below, please contact me so we can discuss what I can do to help him/her while at school.
