1. Set aside a specific time for your child to do homework each night. This will
help eliminate procrastination.
2. Designate a quiet and well-lit place for your child to work. Protect your child
from distractions. Establish a “Quiet Zone.”
3. Be sure your child has the necessary materials and supplies on hand to
support his/her homework (pencils, pens, eraser, number grid, ruler, paper, etc.)
4. Stay in close proximity to your child during homework time.
5. Check your child’s homework for quality and accuracy.
