Course Description:
Students will demonstrate correct usage of standard English grammar including parts of speech, capitalization, punctuation, and word choice. In second grade, students write complete sentences and meaningful paragraphs that develop a main idea. Students utilize the writing process. They write narrative, informational, persuasive, and opinion pieces, as well as friendly letters.
