6.1 Discovery
Let's start off by looking at a new world. View the following video:

This video is pretty typical of what we've done so far - set up a world, specify some action, expect the user to sit back and watch it happening. In this case, we've made a sports car drive around the desert.
Now let's run an Alice program where you can take a more active role as the viewer. In a moment, you're going to download an Alice world to run in your own Alice system, as you have done before. When you run this program you'll have some control of what is happening on the screen using the left, right, and up arrows. Remember that - the left, right and up arrow keys - nothing will happen until you start using those keys.
Download the world at the bottom of the screen: Mod6.1CarStarterWorld.a2w
Once you've run and interacted with the program, come back to this screen. So now - go ahead and download the world at the foot of this page (Car World.a2w) and run it. Once it is running use the arrow keys to control the car.
OK, did you enjoy that?
[Q6.1.1]: Write down how you were able to interact with the program, using those keys. If you can't remember, run the program again, and play around with the world some more.
Did you lose the car off the edge of the viewing screen? It's easily done ;-)
Imagine what programs you could write now that you can interact with a program in this way....
[Q6.1.2]: Write down three such programs!
Now let us explore this world a bit more...
Don't forget: Download the file linked below. Launch Alice on your computer, then use File -> Open World and select the file you downloaded.
Save the world as LastNameFirstName-6.1CarWorld.a2w
