Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Week 5 was spent primarily brainstorming and deciding which designs to use for the Mini Wirewalker
Cam - design a cam that cannot deform, has only two possible positions
Latch - design a latch that cannot false trigger
Race - design a race that will not deform during assembly
Design matrix for each proposed idea for each design
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Every member has presented 4-5 ideas for all three major components of the Mini Wirewalker
We have selected a design for the cam mechanism and have set up design matrices for the otehr two mechanisms
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Finalize proposed designs with SIO staff
Present proof of concept on Thursday in section

Dr. Ghazi, Zoom, 4/30 - our proof of concept can be CAD models and simulations since we obviously can't do testing, and a design matrix is good to have for explaining decisions
Created design matrices
Awaiting comments for report and website
