Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Force tests - tested forces needed to move Wirewalker and Wirewalker mini in either direction
Analysis - analyzed discrepancies in motion profiles of Wirewalker and Wirewalker Mini
in both cases, we found that the downward movement was slower than the upward movement, likely due to the different threshold forces for motion
Wirewalker Mini had an unusual descent, in the sense that there were many false triggers causing up-and-down movements in descent
Wirewalker profile much smoother, less need for filtering
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Found papers written about the Wirewalker, along with the design profile
Force tests and initial analysis on data sets
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Create approximate motion profile for Mini Wirewalker to categorize false triggers (Tamara)
Create approximate motion profile for Wirewalker (Mithulesh)
Get more data on spring forces of Wirewalker and Mini Wirewalker (Chelwei, Andrew)
