Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Currently, we are working on implementing the existing lock into the current design that we have. We plan to expand our dimensions to fit this lock, and want to have a final working prototype ready for testing to incorporate to the sponsors.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Accomplishments from the past week includes finalizing our design. We think we have been hung up on how to move forward with the locking mechanism. We want to present the sponsors with a final working prototype using an existing lock, and provide a CAD model of an altered version that would work, in theory.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Talk to Xico and the TJ manufacturing firm
Update the CAD model to incorporate the existing lock
Send out the updated CAD to Chris Cassidy
Assemble Prototype with existing lock
Purchase Cable from Home Depot

Very clear graphics of the box on the car and the box blocking RFID signal by trying to turn on the car
Really good presentation! Your diagrams of the final design are very clear and creative, liked the ways you tackled the problems of how a lock can be broken into into a clear solution
Explanation of locking mechanism was a little bit unclear
Add images and details of mechanisms behind locking.
Risks and Areas of Concern
UX will go down
the larger we have this box, the less attractive it is and the less able one is able to easily use it
Resources or Information Required but not Available
continued meetings and input from Professor Delson & Anem
Budget (list amount spent and amount remaining)
approximately $1850
