Project Team

Michael Bagherpour

mbagherp@ucsd.edu

Charisma and ingenuity are said to describe our fiscal manager and IMU Guru Michael. His forte lies in the graceful craft of optimizing our IMU sensors which will calculate the wrist angles. His awe-inspiring undertaking of computer science courses gives him the edge on creating concise and effective code. During his free time, Michael loves to play board games and enjoys a large library of musicals, some you've never even heard before.

John Tayag

Johntayag8@gmail.com,

John is an effective team member who brings organizational and artistic skills to the table. His work for this project is focused on developing the glove itself, from creating prototype drawings to researching different fabrics for the final product. Outside of this project, he is very involved in different student organizations on campus and has participated in multiple projects. He wishes to work on developing more environmentally friendly cars for the future with an emphasis on hybrid electric vehicles.

Kyle Gillespie

ktgilles@ucsd.edu

Kyle is the jack of all trades for the project. From decoding the raspberry pi to designing PCB's, Kyle is there for it all. His dedication and determination pushes the team closer to our end-goal. Sometimes, we think that he works too hard. Also, his quirky humor brings energy and joy to the team. Kyle has extensive experience in working with soft robotics and has been published in two research papers. He will be attending UCLA in pursuit of his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering. IF he has free time, we don't exactly know what goes on.

Euan Tan

etan213@gmail.com

Euan brings creative solutions and ideas to both business and product development. He is our dedicated webmaster and finger pressure sensor researcher. He is our second pair of eyes, diligently checking our documents and presentations before we submit them. During his free time, nine times out of ten, he's probably riding his bike.
