Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Built a first order active low pass filter and tested the FlexiForce with it
Began calibration of the FlexiForce by finding a suitable puck to apply pressure evenly, finding weights, etc.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Ordered and received circuit components (op-amps, voltage regulators, etc.)
Spoke to Steve and it turns out he has used FlexiForce in the past and has experience in calibrating them!
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Look for shielded cables (coax) long enough to reach the 30 foot span (Team)
Finish Calibration of FlexiForce sensors (Team)
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Determined the BioPac filters being used currently are bandpass filters which is not what we desire
Determined the penetration panel will do some low pass filtering (cutoff frequency around 100 kHz)
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Still need to investigate the option of coax cables.

Risks and Areas of Concern
Ensuring FlexiForce sensors provide accuracy and resolution listed in datasheets
Make sure filters function properly and attenuate high frequency noise from MRI machine
Success in connecting our device to existing data acquisition system.
