Order additional cables needed to power the entire system.(Diana)
Cut Aluminum for frame, lasercam acrylic (tyler)
Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
Suggested using a lens with f/22 or adjustable aperture size. Researched multiple vendors for lenses with this specification, but was only able to find lenses with f/4 that would fit the GoPro camera while focusing within the necessary range. Will discuss this issue with sponsors.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
Looking into printed circuit boards, I found a webpage called custom circuit boards, I will keep researching other printed circuit board manufacturers and schedule a meeting with Steve Roberts by the end of the week to ask him about the printed circuit boards (Jeanette)
Needed to account for forced and natural convection on the tube. Dug up some research paper on finding the nusselt number and wrote some code. Internal temperature increased in model slightly.
Do more rigorous pressure testing, scheduled pressure test at SIO pressure chamber for Thursday morning (Jamie).
Risks and Areas of Concern
Possible to melt down weights into a denser (and less bulky) material? Should we melt lead?
Resources or Information Required but not Available
Schedule
Budget (list amount spent and amount remaining)
Almost all the materials necessary for the final design had been ordered. Materials still need to buy: nose cone material
Progress on Report and Webpage
In progress.
