As part of the 18th annual Reinstein Symposium, Dr. Robert Shephard is hosting a screening of the film Persepolis. This film is an animated version of the story of a young girl coming of age during the Iranian Revolution. Her rebellions worry her parents over her safety and she is sent to Europe for schooling. The film follows her struggles with her national identity, gender roles, and cultural roots.
The film will be shown Wednesday, February 1st, at 4:00 PM in the Tripp Lecture Hall.
