Jeannette Walls has written a true-life novel about her grandmother who was known for many things, including such varied and entertaining roles as rancher, gambler, teacher, wife and mother.
The Gannett-Tripp Library has three hard copies and one ebook for students to check out.
The Chemung County Library District has several copies for check out as well.
