Converting Decimal to Fraction

The fraction 1/4 can be written as a decimal. First make it out of 100 by multiplying the numerator and denominator, which makes 25/100. This can be written as 0.25. Another way to make a fraction into a decimal is to divide the numerator by the denominator. The best way is to just plug the fraction into your calculator.
Mixed Numbers to Fractions/Decimal
The mixed number 2 and 3/4 can be written as a fraction. First, multiply 4 and 2, then add three. This gives you 11. The denominator stays the same so the new fraction is 11/4. As a decimal, it is 2.75. This is because 11 * 25 is 275, and that's over 100.
