Level 1 requires no prerequisite knowledge of Spanish, but students should have a good grasp of English grammar and parts of speech. Students should expect to study vocabulary daily on their own time. It is not easy to learn a new language. It may be the most difficult class that you have ever had so far.
Level 2 requires a firm grasp of the material from Level 1. Students should have earned a "C" or better in Level 1. If a student earned a "C" or better with ease (no extra credit, no retaking assessments), they should have no problem with Level 2.
