French 1

Level 1 requires no prerequisite knowledge of French, but students should have a good grasp of English grammar and parts of speech. Students should expect to study vocabulary daily on their own time. Learning a new language is NOT easy. This may be the most challenging class you have taken so far.

Level 2 requires a strong grasp of the material from Level 1. Students should come into level 2 already knowing how to conjugate regular verbs as well as the 7 irregular verbs that were taught in level 1. Some review will be done to start the year, but the expectation is that the student had a strong understanding of the level 1 material.
