WHAT TO BRING (PLEASE PACK)
Sleeping bag or bedroll
Pillow
Personal care items (towels, soap, toothbrush, etc.)
6 Sets of underwear
At least 6 pairs of socks (long/tall enough to pull over pant cuffs)
Sleepwear, PJs,
Indoor "comfy" shoes or slippers (like Crocs or grip socks!)
T-shirts, both short and long-sleeved
Long pants for the week--students do not hike in shorts
Sweatshirt or fleece that can be layered over t-shirts and under coat or jacket
Raincoat or Poncho
Jacket or Coat that blocks wind & suits the weather forecast
Sturdy, comfortable shoes for walking (sneakers are great)
SEASONALLY WISE options to include
Shorts (knee length) for non-hike times
Sunscreen (lotion, NO SPRAY)
Ball cap, Visor, Sunhat, Sunglasses
Warm Hat
