About this webinar
Small holder farmers come in all forms, from hobby farmers to peri-urban producers to absentee landholders. Each smallholder farmer brings their unique set of challenges for veterinarians – from poor facilities to limited awareness of animal health and welfare. This webinar will look at the interface of smallholder farms and biosecurity and highlight the role veterinarians play in surveillance and disease response. This event will operate as both a standalone event and a lead in for the AVPH workshop for clinical practitioners on the 9th of June in Melbourne: http://conference.ava.com.au/workshops
