Attention Chap Community: We have a wonderful Wish Week opportunity:  Every year, Chaparral’s Wish Week helps grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses, through our fundraising efforts, in conjunction with Make-A-Wish Colorado. This would not be possible without the generous businesses that sponsor our Wish Week. In return for their support, businesses receive many advertising benefits. Sponsorship levels range from $100 to $750 and are a great opportunity for any business!  If you are involved with a business, or know a business that would be interested in sponsoring Chaparral’s 2018 Wish Week please contact Dylan Vertner at verterdj@s.dcsdk12.org or call at 720-633-5775 for additional information or any questions. Thank you for your support in granting a wish!

The next SAC meeting will be on Monday, January 29, 2018 in the CHS Library.

FOR JUNIORS ONLY-
Junior Conferences & Course Selection for the
2018-2019 School Year

It is time to register for classes for your senior year!  This two-part process will take place in computer labs.  The first half is your Junior Conference; an opportunity for you to reflect on what you have done so far in high school, and plan for your future. The second half will focus on choosing classes that you need to graduate as well as reach your post- secondary goals.
Junior Conferences and Course Selection labs will be on Friday, 1/19 and Monday, 1/22.  Print your name on one of the sign-up sheets located in the hallway just outside of the Counseling Office to reserve your Junior Conference and Course Selection time. You will sign up for two consecutive class periods, so plan accordingly.  We highly recommend using an off-hour and a class that you can afford to miss, (avoid missing AP classes).  In addition, there will be a lab for students interested in information on NCAA athletics, and one for students interested in joining the armed forces or going straight to employment after graduation.  If you are interested in these choices, please sign up for the specific lab.  The focus of the other labs will be on college admissions.  It is your responsibility to attend the lab on your requested time and date. Attendance is taken. Don’t forget to sign up.  We look forward to seeing you there!
