Welcome to the Niles North Student Inquiry and Research page.
This course is intended for students who are interested in pursuing a higher-level, year long, in-depth study of a science topic of their choosing. Successful students in this course will be self-motivated and independent learners. This course will give students the opportunity to participate in the community of scientific research and scholarship. One requirement of the course is that students will present their research at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science Regional Science Fair where they will have the opportunity to qualify for the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Science Fair and the INTEL ISEF Science Fair.
