This class is a continuation in exploring how to create fine art using a digital camera and Photoshop to make your ideas a reality. You will gain more control over your camera’s capabilities and begin to develop your own voice in your images. You will continue to use Adobe Photoshop as your main editing software—controlling both the technical aspects of your prints and the creative qualities of your images. Emphasis is placed on quality over quantity, although you will be shooting a lot of photos this semester. You will further develop your ability to analyze visual images using the language of art and design. You will create unique images through effective use of light, expression, and design elements & principles, and will begin to bring more meaning to your body of work.
