The Orchestras will be attending the CWU Orchestra Festival this March. We will travel and attend the festival on Thursday. After all four Orchestras have performed and watched the CWU Symphony Orchestra perform, we will travel on to Issaquah for the evening. We will then travel to Seattle to visit Pikes Place Market and the MOPOP.
General Information
We are looking forward to two days of inspired music making! This is a non-competitive festival including constructive and engaging exchange between the clinician/conductor and students. Participation by school groups is open to High School and Middle School levels. We invite orchestras from throughout the Northwest.
This year, we expect 20-30 orchestras to be a part of this important educational experience. CV Orchestras will be a part of this amazing festival. We will perform with all 4 orchestras (Itinerary is located to the right). We will perform for clinicians and will continue with a clinician after each performance. We will stay and watch the CWU Symphony perform. After the performance the Orchestras will continue on to Bellevue and stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites (hotel information to the right).
On Friday morning, we will go downtown Seattle to visit Pikes Place Market and then the MoPOP Museum. We will travel back home Friday evening.
