About Mrs. Scholl

Hi! My name is Heather Scholl. I've been teaching full-time at Stocklmeir since 2009, however I've been in education for many more years in a variety of roles (i.e., volunteer, substitute teacher, etc.). Over the years, I have taught TK, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade. I truly enjoy working with the younger grade levels and I'm looking forward to another wonderful year in First Grade!

On a personal note, I received my B.S. in Business Administration from Louisiana State University and my Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. I completed 20 units of Early Childhood Education at Foothill College and in addition to my teaching credential, I also have an Administrative credential. I currently live in Sunnyvale with my husband, Derrick (we will be celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary in October) and our dog, Ozy. We have two children, Kaitlyn and Aria. Our oldest, Kaitlyn, graduated from Purdue University in Indiana (Go Boilermakers!) December 2021 and is currently working for Google in Seattle, WA. Our youngest, Aria, moved to Vancouver, WA and is exploring new opportunities. While I was born and raised in the East Coast I have lived in Sunnyvale for more than 28 years. My children attended Stocklmeir, Cupertino Middle School, and Fremont Union High School. In my spare time, I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, and travel. I am also a HUGE fan of coffee and Pandas!
