With roots going back to 1985, the Peer Assistance and Review Program (PARP) is a CPS-CFT collaborative program whose mission is to support novice teachers in their growth as educators, assist veteran teachers who exhibit serious instructional deficiencies, and to provide assistance and resources to teachers and administrators in their work with the Cincinnati Teacher Evaluation System (CTES).
The PARP is governed by the Peer Review Panel (PRP). The PRP meets monthly to review the work of the PARP, provide input to the PARP staff, and make recommendations to support the work of the PARP. The PARP committee is comprised of an equal number of teachers appointed by CFT and administrators appointed by the Superintendent.
