Benefits: What Do We Offer?

Cincinnati Public Schools is very successful because of what our employees contribute to the organization.

Our Benefit programs are designed to attract, retain and motivate world-class talent. We offer an array of benefit plans and programs designed to meet your needs. We've got you covered and then some!

    • Medical coverage that begins on the first day of the month following your start date.

    • Dental coverage up to $1,500 annually

    • Orthodontia coverage paid at 50%, up to a $1,500 lifetime maximum for children up to age 18

    • An optional Health Care Flexible Spending Account to cover eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses, such as deductibles, copays or coinsurance.

    • An optional Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account to reimburse yourself on a pre-tax basis for child care or adult dependent care expenses that are necessary to allow you to work. You can contribute up to $5,000 annually, per IRS Guidelines.

    • Wellness Plan where the benefits eligible employee can earn up to $500.00 annually as well as their spouse, by participating in our Wellness Plan.

    • An Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) to help you resolve personal problems which may occur. The EAP is a completely confidential and voluntary service to help employees through rough patches such as marital distress, family issues, financial problems, substance abuse, and other personal problems.

    • Basic Life Insurance provided by the District

    • Voluntary Life Insurance at reasonable rates

    • AFLAC Voluntary Sickness and Accident Plans available
