Ohio law requires local Boards of education to adopt a policy on career advising beginning in the 2015-2016 school year. The Columbiana Exempted Village School District Career Advising Policy is in accordance with the Ohio Department of Education. The policy is attached below in the files documents.
Columbiana Schools has incorporated the use of Ohio means Job K-12 website. Career exploration, career connections and planning is embedded into our curriculum throughout K-12.
Students begin creating accounts in Ohio Means Jobs K-12 in grade 7.
Teachers, Parents, Guardians may create accounts at any point to get the resources they need
