Ohio Means Jobs / Career advising

Ohio law requires local Boards of education to adopt a policy on career advising beginning in the 2015-2016 school year. The Columbiana Exempted Village School District Career Advising Policy is in accordance with the Ohio Department of Education. The policy is attached below in the files documents.

• • Columbiana Schools has incorporated the use of Ohio means Job K-12 website. Career exploration, career connections and planning is embedded into our curriculum throughout K-12.

  • Students begin creating accounts in Ohio Means Jobs K-12 in grade 7.

  • Teachers, Parents, Guardians may create accounts at any point to get the resources they need
