The Columbia County Planning Department manages this portion of the county's geographic information system (GIS) resources, and is continually developing, maintaining, and updating geographic datasets. The online maps and web applications developed to facilitate access to these data are hosted using ArcGIS Online (AGOL).

The Columbia County GIS Home Page is the main entry point to the AGOL system and includes links to maps, apps, datasets, and announcements of updated datasets.
We've developed a new Neighboring Parcel Query Tool. This is a a single-purpose application designed to facilitate identifying tax parcels within a given distance of a selected project parcel or group of parcels.
All of our online maps have been updated with 2021 tax parcel boundaries. (8/20/2021)
We have a second online tutorial describing some of the advanced features found in our NRI Data Viewer. This is worth 1.5 hours of credit towards Planning Board and ZBA annual training requirements. (5/20/2021)

Columbia County Broadband Map is now available for public viewing
Census blocks that received NYS Broadband Program Office Awards or are subject to the PSC Agreement are now available for viewing and download on the Geo-Data page (10/28/2020)
County School Districts are now available for viewing and download on the Geo-Data page (10/22/2020)
